Q. What type of things will Flores Hauling remove?

A. Flores Hauling will remove almost anything as long as it is not Hazardous Material.

Q. Why can't Flores Hauling remove Hazardous Material?

A. Flores Hauling are not permitted to carry hazardous materials. Call your local recycling or waste management hotline for further assistance.

Q. What is Hazardous Material?

A. Fluorescent lamps and tubes. Includes fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent lamps, metal halide lamps, and sodium vapor lamps. Flammable and poisons. Includes solvent-based (oil) paints and reactive and explosive materials. Acids, oxidizers, and bases. Includes some pool chemicals and cleaners. Pesticides and herbicides. Latex paint. Oil-based paint (also listed under flammable). Nonempty aerosol paint or solvent cans (all nonempty aerosol cans are banned from the trash). Solvents. Includes materials such as paint thinners, finger nail polish remover, etc. Asbestos, which ncludes some older kinds of cement, roofing, flooring and siding. Antifreeze. Batteries. Motor oil and filters. Compressed gas cylinders. Includes propane tanks used for BBQ or plumbing. Needles and sharps generated in home health care. PCB-containing materials. Nonempty aerosol cans that contain hazardous materials.

Q. Why can't you give me an exact price over the phone?

A. Our rates are based on the amount and type of junk being removed. Until we see what is to be removed, we can't give you an exact price. Once at the premises, but before starting a job, our team will review the materials to be removed and provide you with a free estimate of how much the job will cost.

Q. How much notice do you require?

A.Try to give us as much notice as possible to ensure your junk collection can be scheduled for a time most convenient to you. However, Flores Hauling does provide same day service for any urgent needs you might have.

Q. What do you do with the junk?

A. The majority goes to recycling depots. Where practicable, we look to reuse items by donating them to local charities. We especially try to donate to Homeless Shelters and Shelters for Women and Children.
